Updated October 11, 2026
⚡ Quick Summary
The short version: you don’t need to know the year of a Cybertruck to buy for it, because the listings treat 2024 through 2026 as one fit. What you do need is the word Cybertruck on the listing. Almost nothing made for a Model 3 or Model Y fits the truck, and a few popular Tesla gifts don’t work on it at all.
- Under $25: a key card sleeve for the keyring, a cargo net for the bed, or a glass cleaner and towel kit.
- Under $50: a good tire pressure gauge, a windshield sunshade cut for the truck, or a dash phone mount.
- Bigger gifts: an under-seat storage tray, or all-weather floor mats for both rows.
- Skip: anything sold for a Model 3 or Model Y, the common 150 ft-lb torque wrench, Tesla jack pads, 12V plug-in gadgets, seat covers, a dashcam drive, and stainless polish kits. The reasons are below.

Who this list is for
This is a list of gifts for Cybertruck owners, written for the person doing the buying. You probably don’t drive the truck yourself. You want something they will use, and you don’t want to wrap a part that turns out to be made for a different Tesla.
I should tell you where I stand. I own two Model Ys and a Model 3. I have driven a Cybertruck, but I don’t own one. So I did not pick these by living with them in the truck. I picked them by reading Tesla’s Cybertruck owner’s manual and each product listing, and I quote both so you can check my work.
Buying for a Cybertruck is easier than buying for our cars in one way. With a Model 3 or Model Y you have to know the year, because the cars were redesigned and the molded parts changed. The truck has not had that kind of change. Every Cybertruck listing I read for this article covers 2024 through 2026 as a single fit. So mats, a sunshade or a storage tray are safe to buy without asking questions, as long as the listing says Cybertruck.
It is harder in another way. The truck is its own vehicle, and very little made for the other Teslas carries over. The center screen is 18.5 inches, the mats and trays are molded to a different cab, and even the electrical system is different. A few gifts that are fine for a Model Y are the wrong thing here, and I list those near the bottom with the reason for each. If your Tesla owner drives one of the cars, our gift guide for Tesla owners is the list you want.
A note on the price tiers. I don’t print prices or star ratings on this site, because they change every week and I would rather you see the real number on the listing. Each item was in its tier when I checked on October 11, 2026. Check before you order, and more so near Black Friday.
Gifts under $25
These are the small ones, for a stocking or an office exchange. Two are made for the truck and one works on any vehicle.
A key card sleeve
A Cybertruck is unlocked and driven with the owner’s phone, and the backup is a plastic card. Tesla’s manual says “Tesla provides you with two Cybertruck key cards, designed to fit in your wallet,” and it explains what they are for: “In situations where your phone key has a dead battery, or is lost or stolen, use your key card to unlock, drive, and lock Cybertruck.”
The trouble is that a bare card ends up in a drawer or loose in the console. The console is a bad place for it in this truck. The card readers for driving are built into the wireless phone chargers, and the manual warns you to remove “any NFC cards (for example, the vehicle key card, credit cards, or hotel key)” before charging a phone there. A silicone sleeve with a keyring puts the card on the house keys instead. My own card lives in my wallet, which also works, so I don’t use a sleeve. For an owner who doesn’t carry a wallet, or for the second driver in the house, it is a good small gift. Our guide to getting locked out of a Tesla covers the other backups.
Silicone Key Card Holder, 2-Pack with Keychains
Why it’s here: two sleeves and two keychains, which matches the two cards Tesla hands over with the truck. The listing describes “a grippy exterior so the card does not slide on the smooth console,” and says the pack includes “2 Key Card Covers, 2 Key Chains, 2 Screwdrivers.”
Fits: per the listing, “2017-2025 2026 Tesla Model 3 and 2020-2025 2026 Model Y, Cybertruck And Rivian.” The listing gives no years for the Cybertruck. The page has a colour selector, so pick the one you want before you add it to the cart.
A cargo net for the bed
A pickup bed is a big empty box, and a bag of groceries set down in it will be at the tailgate by the first stop sign. Most truck owners know this and still don’t get around to fixing it. A stretch net with pockets is the cheap fix for light things.
There is one thing to check first. This net attaches to the rails that run along the top of the bed sides, which Tesla calls L-tracks. The manual describes “Two L-track rails (if equipped), running along the top of each side of the cargo bed.” The words “if equipped” matter, because they mean some trucks don’t have them. If you can look in the bed, look for a slotted metal rail along the top of each side wall. If you can’t, keep the gift receipt. This is a net for groceries and gear bags, not a tie-down for heavy cargo. The manual lists four tie-down anchors, one at each bottom corner of the bed, for that job. The rest of what I’d put in the bed is in our Cybertruck accessories guide.
BestEvMod Cargo Mesh Net for Cybertruck, 3-Pocket
Why it’s here: the listing says it is “specifically designed for the Tesla Cybertruck,” that it “securely attaches to the L Track,” and that to install it you “just attach the provided clips to the OEM anchors.” The three pockets are for “groceries, tools, gear, and other essentials.” It comes off when the bed needs to be clear.
Fits: the listing title says 2024-2026 Tesla Cybertruck. It needs the L-track rails described above. The page sells several nets, so confirm it reads “3 Pocket” before you order.
A glass cleaning kit
Glass is the one part of any vehicle that every owner ends up cleaning, and the Cybertruck has a lot of it. Tesla’s manual says to “clean windows and mirrors using an automotive glass cleaner.” A can of the right cleaner and a few waffle-weave towels gets used up, which makes it a safe gift for the owner who already bought everything else.
Tell them it is for the glass only. It is not for the touchscreen. The manual says to wipe the screen with “a soft lint-free cloth specifically designed to clean monitors and displays,” and it says not to use “cleaners (such as a glass cleaner)” on it. On our cars I wipe the screen with the car in Screen Clean Mode every time, so the cloth doesn’t change a setting, and the truck’s manual describes the same mode. The kit is not for the body either. I get to the stainless steel in the skip section.
Invisible Glass Foaming Cleaner, 2-Pack, and The Rag Company Waffle Weave Towels, 3-Pack
Why they’re here: two 19 oz cans of foaming automotive glass cleaner, and three 16 by 16 inch waffle-weave microfiber towels. The towel listing calls them “Lint-Free, Streak-Free” and says they are for “Windows (The Best!), Shiny Metals & Drying Small Areas.” Buy both and put them in one bag.
Fits: any vehicle. Not Tesla-specific. Both listings have a selector, so confirm the 2-pack of cleaner and the 3-pack of 16 by 16 towels before you add them to the cart.
Gifts under $50
This is the tier for a sibling, a parent or a good friend. One works on any vehicle and two are cut for the truck.
A tire pressure gauge
The truck shows its tire pressures on the screen, so a gauge sounds unnecessary. It isn’t. The screen is inside the cab and the air hose is outside at the wheel. A gauge in your hand gives you the number where you are standing, and it lets you bleed a tire down to the right pressure without walking back to look. The pressures the truck wants are on a label. Tesla’s manual says the label “is located on the center door pillar and is visible when the driver’s door is open.”
It matters a little more on this truck than on a car. A spare tire is something the owner buys separately. The manual says “You can purchase a spare tire and tool kit for your Cybertruck on shop.tesla.com.” Without one, a slow leak caught in the driveway is worth a lot more than one found on the highway. Our Tesla tire care guide covers pressure, rotation and winter tires.
JACO ElitePro Digital Tire Pressure Gauge, 100 PSI
Why it’s here: it is a real tool. The listing says it is “calibrated accurate to professional ANSI 2A standards,” reads up to 100 PSI in “0.10 PSI” steps, has a backlit screen for a dark garage, and holds the reading on the display until you reset it. It has a short hose and a “built-in air bleeder valve,” so you can let air out down to the number without taking it off the valve. Batteries are included.
Fits: any vehicle. Not Tesla-specific. The listing names “cars, trucks, motorcycles, bikes, RV & trailers.”
A windshield sunshade
A parked truck sitting in the sun gets hot inside, the same as any vehicle. A shade keeps the dash and the seats out of it. What I do on our own cars is turn the air conditioning on from the app before I walk out, and a shade means the cabin has less heat to get rid of when I do.
A sunshade is normally a risky gift, because a shade cut for one windshield does not fit another. Here it is safe, as long as the shade is cut for the truck. It is not safe to buy a Model 3 or Model Y shade and hope. This listing sells both kinds on one page, so read the last line of the card before you order. The same shade is one of the ten picks in our Cybertruck accessories guide.
BASENOR Windshield Sunshade for Cybertruck
Why it’s here: the listing describes “a high-strength, foldable rigid frame,” says you “simply secure the sunshade with Velcro,” and that it comes with an “Oxford fabric bag” for storage. The listing makes cooling claims I can’t check, so I am going by the fit and the frame.
Fits: per the listing, “2024 2025 2026 Tesla Cybertruck.” The same page also sells two Model 3 and Model Y shades, so confirm the selector reads “for Cybertruck 2024-2026.” When I checked, the page showed a delivery window two to four weeks out, so order early if it has to be wrapped by a date.
A dash phone mount
The truck has wireless phone chargers in the front console, and that is where most phones end up. Tesla’s manual says they provide “up to 15W of power to charge Qi-enabled phones.” A phone lying flat in the console is charging, but you can’t see it. An owner who uses a phone app for directions, or who wants to see who is calling, needs the phone up where a glance will do.
This mount is made for the Cybertruck dash, and that is the reason to buy it over a generic vent or suction mount. It clips on and holds the phone by magnet. Nothing in the listing says it charges the phone, so there is nothing to wire or plug in, and that makes it an easy gift to put on the same day. It is the first pick in our Cybertruck accessories guide. For the cars, our phone mount and console organizer guide goes through the mounts that fit a Model 3 or Model Y.
ESVNE Magnetic Dash Phone Mount for Cybertruck
Why it’s here: the listing says it is “crafted from a single piece of aerospace-grade aluminum alloy” with “soft silicone pads” where it touches the truck, and that a “smooth ball joint” lets you turn the phone to portrait or landscape. It holds “MagSafe-compatible iPhones (12-17 series)” directly, and for other phones you “apply the included, low-profile metal ring.” It sat at the very top of this tier when I checked, so it may tip over the line.
Fits: per the listing, “designed exclusively for the revolutionary Cybertruck (2024+).” The same page sells three Model 3 and Model Y versions, so confirm the selector reads “Cybertruck, Dashboard.”
Bigger gifts
These two cost more than $50, and the mats cost more than $100. They are for a spouse, or for a group gift. Both are molded to the truck, and that is fine here for the reason I gave at the top: the listings cover 2024 through 2026 as one fit.
An under-seat storage tray
There is open floor under the front seats of the truck, and things roll into it and stay there. A tray made for that space turns it into a place to keep an umbrella, a charging cable or a tire gauge out of sight. It is a good gift because it is something an owner doesn’t know exists until they see one, and it does not change how the cab looks.
This one is sold by EVBASE, a Tesla accessory store, and not by Amazon. That changes two things for a gift. Shipping is slower, and the page quoted three to nine days when I checked. Returns go through EVBASE and not through Amazon, so read their return terms before you buy something that might go back. I have not used this tray. It is also one of the storage picks in our Cybertruck accessories guide.
EVBASE Cybertruck Front Under-Seat Storage Tray
Why it’s here: the EVBASE page says it “fits neatly into the unused space beneath the seats,” that it “doesn’t interfere with seat adjustments,” and that it goes in “tool-free.” The page describes the material as “high-quality waterproof silicone material that is flexible, durable, and resistant to scratches,” so it can be pulled out and rinsed.
Fits: per the EVBASE page, “designed specifically for the Tesla Cybertruck 2024+.”
All-weather floor mats
Floor mats are the gift I would not tell you to buy for a Model 3 or Model Y unless you knew the year. For the truck I will. A truck gets used like a truck, with boots, mud and whatever came out of the bed, and carpet does not hold up to that. Mats that can be pulled out and hosed off are the accessory a truck owner uses every day without thinking about it.
Two cautions for a gift. First, ask around before you buy, because mats are also the first thing many owners buy for themselves. Second, it is a big box and hard to hide. If you want to know what separates a good set of mats from a thin one, our EV floor mat guide explains the materials and what to look for.
BestEvMod All-Weather XPE Floor Mats for Cybertruck, Both Rows
Why it’s here: the set covers the first and second rows. The listing says the mats are “designed according to the 3D scan data in 1:1,” made of “premium XPE material,” and have a “skid-resistant backing to keep the mats flush with the floor.” To install them you “simply place it on the floor.” Stock was low when I checked, so don’t leave this one to the last week.
Fits: the listing title says “Tesla Cybertruck 2026 2025 2024” and “1st & 2nd Rows.”
Tesla gifts that are wrong for a Cybertruck
This is the part I would read twice before shopping. Several of these are good gifts for a Model 3 or Model Y, and two of them are on our own gift list for those cars. On the truck they either don’t fit or don’t do the job. For the general list of Tesla accessories I’d leave on the shelf, see Tesla accessories that are a waste of money.
- Anything listed for a Model 3 or Model Y. Screen protectors, console trays, mats, sunshades and trunk organizers for the cars are molded to the cars. If the listing does not say Cybertruck, don’t buy it for one.
- The common 150 ft-lb torque wrench. A torque wrench is a good gift for an owner who rotates their own tires, and the popular half-inch click wrench is sold with a range of “10~150 Ft-Lb.” Tesla’s manual gives the Cybertruck’s lug nut torque as “151 lb. ft (205 Nm).” That is one past the end of the wrench. For the truck, the wrench has to go higher than 150, so check the range before you buy any of them.
- Tesla jack pads. The pads sold for Teslas are made for the lift points on the cars. The set on our other gift list says it is “specifically designed for 2016-2026 Tesla Model 3/Y/S/X,” and the Cybertruck is not named. The truck’s manual has its own lifting instructions, including “You MUST enable Jack Mode otherwise the vehicle may try to self-level while on the jack.” Our jack pads guide is for the cars.
- Gadgets that plug into a 12V socket. Coolers, heated blankets and tire inflators with a cigarette-lighter plug are popular car gifts. The manual’s section on the truck’s interior electronics lists USB-C ports, wireless phone chargers and “two NEMA 5-20 120V power outlets” in the console. It does not list a 12V socket. If you want to give something that plugs in, buy the ordinary household version. The manual also says “Your Cybertruck has three AC power outlets located in the cargo bed.”
- Seat covers. Tesla’s Cybertruck manual says it plainly: “Do not use aftermarket, non-Tesla seat covers.” I would not wrap something the manual tells the owner not to use.
- A USB drive for the dashcam. On the cars this is a good gift. On the truck it is less needed, because the manual says of the glovebox USB port, “This port is equipped with a USB-A flash drive.” The truck comes with one. If your owner has told you theirs is failing, our guide to why Tesla USB drives fail lists replacements. Otherwise skip it.
- Stainless steel polish and cleaner kits. The body is bare stainless steel. The manual says “Cybertruck does not have a clear coat on the surface of the exterior body panels,” and it warns “Do not use hot water, detergents, highly alkaline or caustic cleaning ingredients.” Owners tend to have firm opinions about what touches those panels. Let them choose their own.
- A screen protector, unless you ask first. None of our three cars has one, and there is not a scratch on any of the screens. Some truck owners do want one, and it has to be cut for the 18.5-inch Cybertruck screen. Ask before you buy. Our article on whether a Tesla needs a screen protector has the longer answer.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to know which Cybertruck they have?
Not the year. Every Cybertruck listing on this page covers 2024 through 2026. What can differ from one truck to another is equipment. Tesla’s manual marks some items “if equipped,” and the L-track rails in the bed are one of them, which is why the cargo net has a check next to it in the table. Nothing else on this list depends on how the truck was ordered.
They also have a Model Y. Can one gift work for both?
Only the ones that are not vehicle-specific: the tire gauge and the glass kit. The key card holder also lists both. Anything molded has to be bought for one or the other. For the Model Y side of the driveway, our Model Y accessories guide lists what fits which years.
Is a portable jump starter a good gift for a Cybertruck owner?
It can be used, with a catch. The manual’s jump starting section says to “use an external power source that is capable of supplying at least 12V, such as a portable jump starter.” It also says “Cybertruck uses a 48V low voltage architecture. As a result, some functions may be unavailable or degraded” when the truck is supported by something like a 12V pack. So an ordinary jump pack is a get-you-going tool on this truck and not a full fix. I left it off the list for that reason. One more line from the manual that every owner should know: “Cybertruck cannot be used to jump start another vehicle. Doing so can result in damage.”
What is a good Cybertruck gift over $100?
The floor mats on this page are the first answer. The second is a spare tire. Tesla’s manual says the spare tire and tool kit are sold separately at shop.tesla.com, and it is the kind of thing an owner means to buy and doesn’t. A bed mat is the third, and our Cybertruck accessories guide covers that one. If your owner is still charging from a wall outlet at home, a proper home charger is the biggest upgrade of all, and our Level 2 home charger guide compares them. Buy that one with the owner and not for them, because it has to match the house wiring.
Our Honest Verdict
If you want one small gift and know nothing else about the truck, buy the glass cleaner and towels. Every owner will use them. Buy the key card sleeve if your owner doesn’t carry a wallet, and the cargo net if you have seen the rails along the top of the bed.
If you are spending up to $50, buy the tire gauge for an owner who looks after the truck, or the phone mount for one who just drives it. Buy the sunshade for a truck that parks outside, and order it early.
If you are spending more, buy the floor mats, after you find out whether they already have a set. The under-seat tray is the better surprise, and it ships slower.
Don’t buy anything listed for a Model 3 or Model Y, a torque wrench that stops at 150, jack pads, 12V gadgets or seat covers. I don’t own a Cybertruck. I have driven one, and everything here comes from Tesla’s manual and the listings. If you own the truck and something on this list is wrong for it, tell me in the comments and I will fix it.
